Hi all,

I have a split database running on about 8 clients.

The db was developed in A97 and ran on an NT server beautifully for some years.

The client recently "upgraded" to a win2k server, mainly win2k clients but with 2 W98SE clients. They also decided to upgrade to Office 2000.

The Access 2000 version of the database seems to run fine, BUT the users are suddenly getting lots of lock messages.

Is Access 2000 that different? Or is it Win2k server thats causing this? Any ideas?

In converting the database, maybe it did not save the record-locking scheme you had on the previous Access 97 file.
