Hi All,

Please help me to figure out what am I doing wrong?

In the LockPermissions table I have the following entry:

LockObject: MyFolder
Table: CreateFolder
Domain: [%USERDOMAIN]
User: [LogonUser]
Permission: 268435456 (GENERIC_ALL)

WindowsInstaller does not produce any errors during the installation. However, it does not grant the FullControl either.

If I change the User field in the table to either "Everyone" or "Administrators" or "Users" and then run the installation, the following error message pops up:

Error 1609. An error occurred while applying security settings.
ComputerName\Users is not a valid user or group. ...

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot.

Check the Language settings. You can only use the Users group on an english GUI
