I have posted a similar problem on here before, but this time i think I have narrowed the problem down abit.

Here is the problem. I am using Access to look at a SQL DB to produce quiries and reports and thats it, no data is updated (before you all ask, I have to use access because thats the way they want it).

It would appear when one of the more complex report is run one of the tables becomes locked. How do I prevent this locking. Just to give you a bit more info I am using an ODBC connection and the database is not that big.
