I have a splash page containing a number of control buttons which launch user forms in excel 2000. So as not to complicate the page I wish to stop the cursor from selcting a cell on the sheet if clicked, but retain the control button functionality. Does anyone know code to action this??

Set the sheet's ScrollArea Property to an absolute reference of a cell behind one of your control buttons (i.e. $A$1).

This way, the only cell on the sheet that can be selected is, in the example, A1. And since it is behind a control button, it can't be selected.

I hope this helps!
