Locking objects

Hi, We have signage that gets printed out and displayed on walls, and doors, gets printed out regularly, and needs changes often too.

The idea is that all the colour will be printed out of house to save on costs, and the the text overlay will be black. I have taken the jpg files and created a file in powerpoint so that it fills the background, i need to lock that in place, and then place text boxs where the new text will go.

Not sure if that is possible, or would it be better in mircosoft word.

If you put the image on the Slide Master, it cannot be moved. Put your regular text on a slide in the presentation.
