(Can't really find a good forum to post this, so apologies in advance if this is the wrong place!)

Mgt wants to use AIM Pro for quick communication between users and offices, but they want the ability to monitor conversations. I know AIM has an archiving feature built in to record message logs, but a user can turn this off. Does anyone know of a reg hack (or other software) that will take away this abilty from the user?

Why not deploy Windows Messenger - logs all messages to SQL server.

Or Messagelabs POD is an Instant messaging client that logs - also it support all networks - yahoo, aim, msn, etc.

We have Windows Messenger for internal comms. And are looking at the messagelabs one for external.

I'll bounce that idea to the managers. I think they were impressed with AIM Pro because we have a variety of remote offices that that IM solution would provide quickest contact between internal and external employees. Personally, I don't see what could be so pressing that it couldn't wait 15 minutes to process through an Exchange server's routing scheme...but I just work here :)
