Hello all!
I am currently trying to lock down 2 public access stations using XP & windows 2003 domain GPO.

I currently have it fool proof. With a read only start menu (redirect) that only shows 2 programs and the shutdown button. The desktop is blank and no right clicking can happen.

The only problem is the user can "double click" the programs folder on the start menu, thus brining up explorer. Then he/she could type in an internet address.. look at the drives on the computer ect...

Any way to disable opening up explorer when a folder in the start menu it double clicked???

a) well if you have windows, you do not have a full proof, ...
b) my tip to you is use terminal services for the matter, if you wish to use windows, your client would logon to the terminal session and you can "control" most of the action.
