locking a recordset

How do I lock a recordset? I haven't programmed a database for network use before and I don't want users to be able to over-ride other changes.

In the Left Hand Corner click on the Form Properties and go to the Data Tab and set Record Locks to 1 of the 3 options.

No Locks
Edited Record
All Records
