If after you follow Don's instruction and it still doesn't work you may have to start and stop the engine.
If you are running Novell you do this by making sure everyone is out of Macola and any other application that may be running Pervasive, then from the command prompt type "bstop" and you'll get a message stating the engine has stopped. Then you type "bstart" to restart the engine.
In windows you need to to know if you are running MSQL or PSQL. The concept is the same but there is an extra step with PSQL. Make sure everyone is out of Macola and all other applications that may be using the engine. Get to the "services" icon then with MSQL go to the Microsoft SQL and click on stop and when stopped then click on start. With PSQL you must stop both the Relational PSQL service and the Transactional PSQL service. Then restart them both.
THIS IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS IF YOU DO NOT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT DO NOT TRY THIS!!!!!
