Locked out of Aloha

Through the years there have been different ways to get into Aloha ifyo uare locked out or dont know a user id or password
Older versions Alt-Shift-X worked
Newer version DBFnavigator would do the trick.

With the New Aloha Manager, single site. If the staff has locked out there only known Emp user and password, what is the best way to reset that password?

Since it still uses DBF's at the end of the day (to the best of my knowledge), why not edit the emp.dbf, login and reset your password? At that point, AlohaMgr will either write the new password to the SQL database or to the dbf. (i'm a CFC user, so it hits the emp.dbf almost immediately)

Menulinkman, I would have thought the same thing, but that did not work. I even tried to give a different user, Dishwasher BOH access and still no luck.

take the database back to a date before the pass was changed. you can then login and change it

I have had luck with uninstalling and re-installing NAM. You will have to import your data back in but I believe the generic for first time login is
user:1
password:111

Do you have a link to download NAM, I have no issue to remove, but not all vendors leave software on local machines. I will never understand why a restaurant with 5 different managers all use the same boh user and password and its the only admin password.

Since NAM and CFC use SQL the old trick of using DB Nav to clear PW does not work anymore. Try using the User 1, your reseller should have set up. Would have a password set up by them .
