Locked folder in Outlook express

I was compacting my folders in Outlook exppress when the system locked - I now have a folder 'personal.dbx' which has 14MB plus when viwed with explorer, but which outlook won't open or recognise; any help pls - the drive it is held on had also been previously compressed
