Hi!

When i performe a backup legato is locking the files and makes my applikation, who is using these files, to crash. Can i in some way make legato not lock the files?

I think you are talking about a Windows client - there should be no problem for UNIX/Linux clients. Actually, not NetWorker locks these files but the application or the OS itself.

In this case, only tools like St. Bernard's "Open File Manager" can help.
