When trying to login, message says account locked -- see account administrator.

But when I view the Current Account Lock Status in User Login Controls it says it is "Not Locked"???

How can I unlock a locked account that is not locked???

Thanks.

Dan

Sorry, I need to clarify. The account is not locked. The tty device is disabled. But I can't figure out how to enable it. The "enable" command says it is already enabled.

Thanks.

Dan

Try this:
Code:
/etc/ttyunlock Your_tty

I finally found a solution: the command is scoadmin terminal. From here you can unlock a device. I had been confused by thinking an account was locked, but it turns out it was the device.

Thanks for the help though.
