I am trying to lockdown clients citrix desktops. Right now users can actually shutdown the server, access to the server HD, pretty much full control. I would like to just take the Start button off, and only display the users home folder. They still need to open programs on there desktop but that is about it. Can somebody point me in the right direction. Thanks alot in advance!

hi,

you can use the group policy on a OU, then users in that OU will be affected. You can block all of those things with the policies. You won't be able to make Start disappear but you'll be able to block the shut down and every menu that are under Start.

You can also move all of your Citrix Servers under one OU and setup the group policy on this OU.

After you create the group policy turn on the loop back processing mode.

We have 15 servers , and this works great. We lock down almost every thing. (IE, Local Drives, Server Reboot, ETC.)
