Can you lock a handset on the 3300 ?

Well it depends on what you mean by lock a handset.

what you can is to call barr the extension in question and program Indepent account codes for users to enter into the handset before use. This will only aloow the phone to be unlocked for that 1 call.

You can't unlock for the day and then lock when you go home or when your not at your desk.

As ianuk said, you would need to use Independent account codes but the phone is only unlocked for that call.

I know this feature is on the roadmap and will be available in the not too distant future. Or so they say

A simple way is to use A hot desk login with a PIN, leaving the 'logged off number' barred but the real logged on number unbarred. Obviously this uses a user license but is a simple and effective solution
