I was wondering if there is any way to lock an Access table at a certain field so that when you scoll to the right that field and those fields before that field are always shown to the left? For example if you got a table with lets say employees you want the field with their name to always be on the screen while you scroll the other fields with their adress, phone number, shoe size, date of birth, favourite ice cream flavour etc etc...

This can be done in Excel but I don't know about Access

Yes. It's called "freezing" the columns. Highlight the columns you want to freeze, and choose Format|Freeze Columns from the menu.

When you close the table (it works with queries, too), Access will ask if you want to save changes to the table layout. If you answer Yes, the frozen columns will remain frozen the next time you open that table or query. Rick Sprague
