Hit Tools-Envelopes and labels. Click on the labels tab. Hit Options to choose the label number you're using. At this point, you can fill it in and tell it you want a whole sheet of one address or, you can select the column and row numbers of the one label you want to print on, or you can hit New Document.
If you hit New document, make sure you're viewing table gridlines by hitting Table-Show gridlines (if it says Hide gridlines, you've already got your gridlines showing) and you can see the basic outline of the labels. Now, if you're going to be using this particular label type a lot and constantly typing new addresses in it (address that you're NOT interested in keeping), then you might as well hit File-Save as, change the file type to document template and call it Labels or something like that. Close it. Then every time you want to use it, hit File-New and pick it.
There really AREN'T label templates, per se. Now you know...

Thanks for the info, but what I'm actually looking for (forgive me for not being very descriptive) is the path to where the label forms are located, e.g., c:/program files/microsoft office. this user that i'm helping lost all the templates from MSWord to create labels. so i need to find out where it is located at. this way i could just transfer it from another user. thx again.
That's what I'm trying to say. If they had template files, they weren't built-in label templates because there aren't any!
