Location Based Hunt Group

Hi all,

I am hoping someone can provide me with advice on how I can achieve the following.

We are running version 11.5.1 and I want to create hunt groups based on location. To add some background detail to this, we have 3 offices in different physical locations but one department is split across the 3 locations.

When a user calls the department line from Office_A, I would like the department members shared lines who are also located in Office_A to ring first. If the call is not answered the call will be broadcasted to the same department line in Office_B and Office_C to allow other members of the department to accept the call.

Any help would be appreciated!

Create 3 LGs. Put all 3 in 1 HL. Set the order you want.

How would this have the logic to only ring the department line on the phones in the local office and then extend the call to the phones in the other offices if the call is not answered?

Line groups only give me the option to extend the call to another DN, this will use the same DN throughout. I need to achieve the following:

1. OfficeA user calls Helpdesk shared line which is 1111.
2. Helpdesk team line (1111) rings on all Helpdesk phones in Office_A only.
3. If after 10 seconds the call is not answered by the Helpdesk in Office_A, the call extends to the same Helpdesk shared line (1111) but in Office_B and Office_C as well.

For logic based routing, you arent going to get that out of a basic hunt group. Thats a contact center thing.
