I have created an application that I split in two, source and database. I don't want to control where the user places the database. Is there sample code out there that I can use to ask the user where their database is located and link to it?

look at the help files for using an ini file, you can specify things like that in an ini file... i don't know much about it though...

Life is change. To deny change is to deny life.

How do you mean ask? If the user is instigating the contact (opening their end) then you could use the fact that already know where the backend is and use the SysCmd function to let you know where their dB is. If you could be a little more descriptive about what exactly you're looking to do I could be more specific.

Hope this helps, Kyle [pc2]
