I have a network with a large amount of HP printers of various models. Some of these are accessible via their web admin portals, others are available through webjet admin. The problem I am having is that some of these devices do not have their serial numbers listed in either portal and I was wondering if there was another way I could locate this information before sending out the troops to do a physical check. I read on HP's site that this information may be located in the registry but I am unsure if this is only for local printers? Any ideas on how to get these machines to tell me who they really are without taking a long walk would be much appreciated.
