am I able to locate someone's IP address while having a conversation over the Yahoo Messenger? because... well, someone's bugging me all the time, and I fear someone got my ID without my permission, and I'm NOT listed in the member directory. and since this person is cursing me a lot without a reason I wanted to find out about who this person is. I have no clue, but this someone knows facts about me I hardly tell anyone, so... is there a way?

locate IPs over Yahoo Messenger?

Try sending them a file (files are sent directly), then if they accept the file, run netstat -a while its being transferred to show all active connections.
