localhost not recognised by tomcat

hi, i need advice regarding this.

my tomcat doesn't recognise localhost but it can recognise 127.0.0.1

eg

http://localhost/app/index.jsp

=> cannot work

http://127.0.0.1/app/index.jsp

=> can work


may i ask how to resolve this?

Add this entry to your hosts file :

127.0.0.1 localhost # localhost loopback
