Anyone have any opinions on a local spyware solution for enterprise use? I am thinking of using Ad-Aware Pro, but would like some opinions... I will be loading this on approximately 150 laptops which will be used outside of technical advice. I am looking for a product that can run without user input or interference if at all possible. Thanks in advance.

adaware pro has ad-watch which actively monitors spyware and malicious programs. Have been using it for a while now and am impressed. you can schedule scans and updates so you don't have to rely on the muppet end users to admin it. You'll have to speak to CA about licencing though but 150 users should get you a nice deal.

Wha do you suggest for about 7000+ users. Should be tighen up the gateway to note allow exe to be download. How would you suggest limited spyware on machine. Is there some full time software that could be run?
