Via SQL Enterprise, I am trying to created a local server group (local) when I trying to do it I get an error message that cannot authenticate using windows or SQl authientication. I am not able to add local server...

Any help would be really appreciate..

Regards,

James

If you are trying to create it on your PC / Laptop, then your log in account will have to have rights to access the SQL server, or you need to know a SQL username and password.

If you want to use your windows authentication, you will need to get someone with access to the SQL Server to add your account under the security / logins section.

Cheers,

M.
