I have an nt workstation on both novell and ntdomain servers when i add a local printer to the nt work station i am unable to print while logged into networks

Novell is probably capturing your printer port. On my PC I have a red 'N' on the right of the task bar. If you have this then do the following:

Right-click on tne 'N'.
Left click on the 'Novell end capture' option.
Highlight the 'LPT1' line.
Click on the OK button.

Thanks for the input... My question is will we have to end captur each time booting into network?

Thanks again
