local printer running on sun intel

hi :

I'm new to solaris, and I have probelm configure the local printer to my sun 2.8
server (intel). The print just won't print, and I know the printer is working.
Do you think I need install a patch for it (SUnwppm patch)?

please help me out.

The gui - admintool (via root) configures printers as well as users/groups
See man pages for admintool details

Manage printers
Use admintool to add or delete access to a printer,
or to modify a system's printer access. admintool
makes the appropriate changes to the system's /etc/lp
directory.
