People,

I'm writing from Argentina. I'm working on satellite telecomunication, and usually, we have customer that need clear channel between two diferents place. Mayority, they like to conect (For example) there offices, and they need global solutions including the last mile on USA. Some time T1,E1or F.Relay circuits.
Would you inform me when I can get all the providers in USA to take quotation in the future?(Some web page or something)
i'll apreciated some much your reply

Usually the last mile from the satellite earth station is negotiated by the operator of that earth station. You as a user of that satcom service have no idea which carriers have a point of presence inside. However, if you feel that your satcom provider is not being honest about their last mile pricing, you can ask a terrestrial carrier to bid on a circuit just based on the area code and prefix of the earth station and the last mile destination.

As for sales reps, these are regional. So you will need to find the appropriate international rep for each carrier. I would start on the home page of the major carriers such as Sprint, AT&T, and MCI. Having said that, if your "last mile" is truely a last mile, your service might need to come from a Local Exchange Carrier - which varies by region/state. It is a regulatory matter as to whether the provider be an Inter-exchange Carrier or a LEC. Again, this is a good argument for letting your satcom service provider arrange for the last mile and back bill you for the service.
