Hi all

Running Windows 7 Ultimate with 2 SATA drives, the second 'Local Disk(D):', no longer shows in Windows Explorer.

It shows in the BIOS, but remains inaccessible locally and remotely.

The 'D:\' drive is now assigned to a DVD rewriter.

Any ideas, please?

TIA

When you Right Click "Computer" and select Manage - then navigate to Storage > Disk Management - do you see it in there?

Realise now this was self-inflicted.[blush]

Had recently been playing with a third drive in a caddy on this same PC using the Ultimate Boot CD to reformat the third drive from Linux to Windows format.

Somewhere along the line, something went wrong and hence the result.

Reformatted, etc and all is well. [smile]
