Local delivery loop

Hi, I'm running qmail on Mandrake 8.2 and most functions seem to be working fine; remote mail delivery, local mail delivery, SMTP, POP3. The problem is that for every local mail message received ("user@mydomain.com"), it's first delivered to the local mail directory successfully but then another message shows up in the queue for "msglog@mail.mydomain.com". Even though I've got an alias for "msglog" to "user", that message bounces to itself (mslog) and starts a loop which creates many many messages from "<>" to "msglog@mail.mydomain.com".

I've read through all the tutorials and help I can find and can't seem to figure this out. Any suggestions or pointers in any direction are much appreciated.

Another oddity is that when I do a "status" all my services seem to be up for a decent amound of time except "qmail-send" which only ever reads 1 second or 0. I've followed Life with qmail several times and can't seem to recitify that but mail delivery seems to work regardless with the exception of the "msglog" scenario described above.

Thanks

Joe
