Local Database

Hello,
I would like to know how to have a data that is local to my organization, visible on the net.I want to do this without uploading the data to the web server.is it possible to have the data that my organization is using visible to other users who may access it through the internet.
I need this for an online hotel reservation system whereby the users will be able to make reservations for rooms online. For this, i need to have constant reference made to my active database.
Any help?

If you have an in house web server, then you can share your data just like you would on any other web server -- via a DNS and a static ip address.
