I am looking for the Nortel equivalent of Cisco's Local Area Mobility option. And if Nortel Does have it does it work over Layer 3 switches.

thanks, chuck

Chuck, looking to have roaming wireless users?

I made a single subnet for wireless, over 6 accelars and 20 450 and BPSes. This is not high performance in the sense that you have a single broadcast domain and only one accelar is acting as the router, but as I only put the wireless traffic there, and I wish to 'harden' my internal network from wireless attacks anyways, these were acceptable for me!

jimpalmer@citlink.net I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

so basically you created a ip Vlan that spans across the 6 accelars and the 450s. Is that correct?

Yes the part that I was not aware of before I tried it, was that on the accelars, if you do not give the VLAN an IP address, it acts more like a switch, not a router. Then the accelar that does have an IP is the only point of contact to the wireless VLAN I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
