I have a server Win NT 4.0 server in a remote location and I want to create a local administrator account on it. For administration of that box only (no domain rights).

How can I create a local administrators account in a Win NT 4.0 domain?

All nt machines have a local admin account by default. It is in fact called "administrator" unless it has been renamed.

Connect to the server with user manager and make sure you change the domain from your domain to the remote machines name.

you will see the account there.
