LoadVariablesNum

My problem is with LoadVariablesNum.

Basically, I am calling a text file in the same directory online as the .swf. That seems to be working fine.

Is it possible to call a text file from a different different folder or a different domain altogether? It doesn't seem to work for me and I am extremely curious as to whether it is possible or not.

the text can be in another folder. just include the path to the file.

loadvariablesnum cannot load data from another domain.


if you are using more up to date methods (loadvars,remoting) then the following works

System.security.allowDomain("

http://yourFlashDomain.com");
