I have a new HD and loaded Win XP Pro w/sp2. After it loaded I re-started but when the screen came up it never located anything. I wanted to set the monitor and change to 1060 and the message said that the video can't do that. When I purchased my new monitor and hooked it up with the old HD it worked great and I changed the settings with no trouble.
Now even the Internet Explorer isn't on the screen. I have MSI Via K8m800-CE +VT8237Rchipset. All I have for this are RAID tools and they don't work in the A drive. What can I do?

Administrative tools, Computer management---how many red X's and yellow exclamation points do you have? What kind of drive is it? And as far as locating stuff, do you mean like found new hardware? You don't need Internet Exposer---try Firefox. Go to start, run, ad type iexplore. Or Program Files, Internet Explorer, and in the folder is the little blue "e" icon---right click and pin to start menu. As far as making the Found New Hardware wizard come up, unplug the video pci card from the slot and plug it back in, unless you have and are using onboard video. Is this also a new motherboard? If so, are you sure it will jive with service hack 2? Or, as the best solution to ALL of your problems, download a copy of SuSE Linux and learn how to use it---great beginner Linux, excellent GUI...

Your question isn't very clear (to me).

What exactly is the problem? Are you getting any display at all? Why the reference to RAID tools?

If you can give clearer details, we may be able to help you.

I do get a display but at 800x600. I wanted 1060 x ?. I checked the devise driver and the question marks (yellow) are mostly on the monitors. When first turned on normally it says "found new hardware" but that never came up.Should I load windows again?

Depends---did you back up the old hard drive, and is it XP PRO, SP2 like this one? Try Norton Ghost, and backup the system to the new hard drive---it will migrate all the settings and everything. Later.
