Loading video driver on a intel solaris 8 machine. 1

During the install, I have been ask to select a video dirver for my compaq deskpro which have a intel 810 video chip set with a intel 3d direct agp driver. I found a driver for linux at the intel site.

1. I wonder if anyone know if a linux video driver would work on a intel solaris 8.0 box?

2. How do you select/add the driver during install?

You can wait for patch 109401-04 (2,3 Weeks), this will add support for intel 810/815, Matrox G450, for Xsun ...

You can check this information on Sun web site:

... and no linux driver will not work , Xsun use diferent drivers, but if you can't wait Xfree86 4.0.2 for Solaris 8 work with Intel 810 ...
