Loading the AS2000 Manager on XP

Hi All,

Has anyone had any experience loading the Arcserve 2000 manager on a windows xp workstation? I keep getting errors when I try to install only the manager from the cd. It keeps telling me that it can't find a valid installation of Acrserve to upgrade. I am confused.

Errrr, so am i? I have arcserve 2000 installed on my win xp machine and it works fine?

I have seen XP / ARCserve issues that referred more to the hardware side, where the manager couldn't be installed on a Compaq machine but ran fine on a Dell station. Tried an installation on different hardware ???
