unless you see it approve by Nortel. I would recommend you do not. During my install on service pack 1. I decided to run the MS Update and accepted all patches without first checking the Nortel approved list and i ran into all sort of issues. So much that I had to start over by reformatting hard drive and loading OS minus updates, in order for me to complete the installation.
Do you mean Revision 2? Technically, I don't think it is called service pack 2. Can you verify? There is a bulletin referring to revision 2 and SCCS. When the Install requests the second CD, just hit cancel. That will cause the "rev 2" features not to be loaded. If you try and load SCCS on a server with default rev 2 features enabled, it will fail. If you can't reload the OS, the bulletin points to the features to disable prior to loading SCCS. I have found it is just cleaner to hit cancel when it asks for the second CD.
