Greetings,
I have created a Flash movie that uses the load movie action when you click on a thumbnail. After you click on the thumbnail, the play head is taken to a labelled frame where the thumbnail button becomes a graphic that is altered to show which movie you have loaded. See link:
I load the .swf's into another empty container .swf embedded in a main movie file with a single scene.
All this works fine. My problem is creating a preloader that works for each individual .swf file when it is loaded into the container. The .swf's I load are object movies that allow the user to click, drag and rotate an object based on still frame animation. The MC I use to create this effect is a smart clip that has an incredible amount of action scripting ( which I did not do). The function for the clip does not allow for anything to be placed on the first frame so I can't set-up a preloader within the object movie .swf. At least I can't figure out a way.
What I want to do is attach a preloader somehow when I use the loadmovie action into the container movie clip. Is this possible?
How does one use a preloader when loading several .swf's into a container MC placed on the main timeline??
Thanks!!!
john
