Hello,
I have a win2k server. On this server I have certain COM objects installed and would like to export them to another server. I run through the export process and create the .msi file for an application proxy. I then copy the directory to the remote server (same domain) and run it. It starts but then just disapears and after looking in the event viewer It just says the application proxy failed to load. I have made sure MDAC is same version, both OS are at service pack 3. Is there a way to manually remote the objects? They install fine on the remote server but then they run there and I want them to run on the non-remote server.
Thanks,
jdl
