Hi All,

I've posted about my problem before:

There is a self-loaded program (like a virus) runs everytime when i restart windows.

It works as a program in programs/startup tab, and changes some of the reg keys settings regarding to IE default homepage,IE windows' titles (to
I've tried to:

1) searched programs in programs/startup tab - nothing there, all deleted;
2) edited regkeys by regedit - worked fine when done, but all changed back once restarted windows (after the program is self-loaded);
3) checked file win.ini - load= [blank]

Can someone tell me how to check those programs that loaded automatically everytime when window starts up? i hope it is adjustable in some .ini files or some other methods.

Thanks.

If you are running Win98, run the MSCONFIG program (Start > Run > MSCONFIG). One of the tabs has a list of startup programs. You should be able to uncheck the program. Then, remove it from your startup folder and registry keys as you have before. This should prevent it from reinstalling upon startup.

Hope this helps!
