Loading PLDS license file onto R8.1

Is there any way we can load a PLDS license file onto an R8.1 system? The usual way of Send PLDS file to IP Office is not available on R8.1

Nope. PLDS wasn't introduced for IPO until R9.1. System will need to be updated, or the right ADI license keys for 8.1 will be needed.

You can Log into to Embedded File manager and upload it there into Primary folder, or you can take out the SD card, plug it into the PC and copy the file to Primary Folder. File will only be applied when you perform the upgrade to 10.0 or higher.

File needs to be named PLDSKeys.xml if manually uploaded to the Primary folder.

I have seen cases where this did not work.
Best is to use a second manager (while the first one is uploading system files) or webmanager to upload the license file.
