I have a CP rls 4.0 and was trying to install the PEPS and encountered an error message that says "Setup is not able to perform file copy operation due to sharing violation in target file C:\Callpilot\dmi_base.dll" Setup is not able to copy file from D:\TEMP\cp40404SU04S\dmi_base.dll to C:\Callpilot\dmi_base.dll due to 38502 Does anyone know what is 38502?

exe file, From the D:Temp folder I click on the exe file and it asks if I want to install all peps and I click all, it then spits out that error message.

fleetline...did you unzip the file to D:/temp folder?

no problems only solutions

fleetline..you are doing the peps at callpilot server
level.

Yes I did unzip them in the D: drive of the Call Pilot server card for a Succession 4.0 (option 11 box)

I have seen something similar with a callpilot integrated with symposium. Do you have symposium or contact center.

and make sure you don't have anything opened that does not need to be like pep viewer( I believe it is called DMI viewer).

Symposium, I am aware of the pep viewer and it was not open.

If it is integrated with callpilot you might want to try and stop symposiums services while you install the pep. When I saw this it was a different file name so it may or may not work. If you haven't already done so you might want to reboot callpilot first.

I was able to get past the dll file issue but now when loading the peps I get this new error message:
Could not get information to uninstall MS hotfix KB931836:
The registry key
"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CrrentVersion\Uninstall\KB93186" does not exist
