Loading Patches on BCM50 via USB

Just attempted to load patches on my BCM50 via the USB Storage Device, but got an error stating "Download Failed". Do I have to select a directory on the USB device?
I have all of my BCM50 patches appearing on the USB drive...all unzipped. Just wondering-
