I am creating a chess applet and am trying to load images for each of the peices and the board. They are transparent gifs. I am trying to draw them all on a single custom component. I can successfully load and display about 10 images but it won't display anymore. I am using a MediaTracker so that I wait for the images to load before I try to display them but it doesn't seem to help. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix my problem.
