loading into another swf and reusing partial preload

I have an option page that displays the menu items, these menu options are displayed on every page. My problem on just the option page i need the menu option with each button mouse over state of the buttons to have different size text. So far the menu system is 35k and since I don't know what the hell i'm doing i create two menu.swf pages, 1 with the overstate of the button having large text and in a position near the top of the page (this menu system is used only with the option.html page). The 2nd menu have the overstate text smaller and near the bottom. Because my menu systems, 1& 2, are exactly the same except for the buttons overstate, i was wonder if there was some way with FLASH v5 to group the commonalities of the menu systems so that the user does not have to reload the whole 35k to use both menu systems.
