Can anyone take a look at and tell me if you see anything strange about the way it's loading? I have a dial up connection and the page literally loads in slivers.. maybe the images are sliced too much.. But I thought slicing is supposed to be helpful for loading faster and instead it looks like it's loading slower and in pieces. Any suggestions?

Well it is loading in pieces and it is generally faster. I'm not really sure what you are asking.

Sometimes people slice their images to protect them from being downloaded easily.

I think your logic about having too many slices is probably correct in this case. It appears you must have at least 50 or so images slapped in that massive table with lord knows how many cells. Its noticeable to me, even on a T1 connection.

If you are using Dreamweaver (and it appears that way in your code) you might try simply making biggers slices. Or instead of creating a table of images, use layers and stack them together. You should be able to accomplish the same look with about 10 layers or so.

Just some ideas.

I'm glad someone noticed what I did. All I did was create the layout in fireworks and clicked "insert multiple slices" and it automatically sliced it up into all those pieces... I guess instead of letting fireworks use its imagination, I should just slice it up myself.. thanx for the help.
