I am working on a site that "slides" from side to side when you click on a button, like Snape's work on or Josh Davis' work on I've got the main body of the site sliding back and forth in tune with the buttons - everything seems stable so far. One of the sections I want to display is a portfolio (this is for a photographer). I have the portfolio divided into 3 sections, and one of the sections contains about 30 images. For the portfolio area, I have the main "movie" with one full-size image and 10 thumnail buttons just below it. You click on a thum, and a "loadmovie" action loads the accopanying full-size image into a target area, replacing the previous image. Again, all this is fine.

NOW. What I want to do is introduce another level of thums (no problem) and load their accompanying images onto another level. Again, this works, but the slide action is totally lost. You go to the second layer of thums, load the image into the second level, and if you click into another sliding section - say to the "Contact" section - the base movie slides, and the second-level image just hangs there, suspended over the sliding level. How do I get the second-level thums and images into the whole slide?

Is there another approach to this whole problem? Is there a way load the "movie" onto various levels and keep it part of the sliding site? If this doesn't make sense - take a look at kwakualston.com, look at the portfolio and tell me how they did that. Please.
