loading external files

i have created my website, but because of the music file, it is huge and i am trying to reduce the file size by loading the music files externally. my problem is that i am just learning action scripting and i have a bit of a problem.
could some one tell me how i would make a button from my movie load the music files externally? it would be greatly appreciated.
