Ok, I'm back again.

I have a site, which I load a lot of things on the page at once...I tried making a seperate swf to load into each of the sections to keep everything tidy, but it seems when you load the SWF into your main movie...it loads the whole thing?...

How can I make it so I can display a loading movie before everything actually pops up in each of these sections?...I would be very grateful if I could even make it the SAME swf loading sequence to perhaps load into...say, 5 sections, then somehow I get all of the referenced sections to display the same loading file while loading the corresponding section movie? You wanna try yourself at that probem description again?

Insanity may not be a BAD THING! I'm just not there yet!

I'm taking a movie and on frame 5-10, I have it load a seperate SWF...

These SWF's might be pretty large in size, and I would like to cut down how fast it loads...for some reason when loading it with the Loadmovie function (I think it's that function)...it takes a huge 5-10 second delay to put all the pictures up, etc. Regards,

Still not following you! Must be a question of age or insanity level!
How can you consider a 5 to 10 seconds delay, a huge delay?
And anyways, this delay would only occur on the first visit to your site.
Add a preloader to the movie your are loading... Just saying something like "Loading... Please wait!", to get something fast on the screen.

I am even doing this over the INTRANET at work, and when loading the pictures (into memory, not downloading the stupid things!)...

But I get a delay of like 5 to 10 seconds when loading the pictures into memory...not when downloading them...

Even when they used to be in the same swf, instead of loading an external swf, they delayed then too...I could view the page, go to another and come back, and that huge delay would still be there.
