while my movie loads i want to put the ever famous 'loading'...i used an if frame is loaded go to and play...blah blah...but my intro does not repeat and it seems the movie doesn't wait to load....how do i do this properly so that i have a repeated cycle on the 'loading' sign and that the movie indeed waits to play until fully loaded.

thanks in advance!

hi

ok, you have your IF statement in the first frame, a GOTOANDPLAY(1) in the second/third/whatever frame, your movie starts in the frame after this.

You put your 'loading' image in a movie-clip and tween it or whatever, drag it into the first frame of a new layer on the main timeline, and make sure that you have enough frames inserted in this layer to cover the 'loop' in the preloader layer.

Thanks for your help! I was able to work out my problem without worrying about doing a whole action script maneuver with a preloader which seemed rather complicated.
